Whether you are an EMT, AEMT, or a Paramedic, you will want to know ALL of the drugs on the ambulance. You may be asked to help draw up medications that you are unfamiliar with. So, get familiar. For this squad meeting, you should study the Drug cards below. We will have syringes and drugs (expired of course). You will be asked when you would and would not use a certain drug, the dose, how to draw it up, and how to administer it. This will be hands on, so you will actually be drawing up the medication. Don't worry though, we will NOT be administering it into a live person...or a dead one. Even if you are 100% confident with all of your drugs, please come help teach those that are learning.
